På tsn.ca står det:

Som jag har förstått det har de inte konkat än, men har problem av naturliga skäl efter att PEnnzoil och GM lämnat. Men planen är att hitta en sponsor för 2006 och köra som enbilsteam igen, därav utförsäljningen.

Det var så jag tolkade det, Panther säger att det är inte är så. Och troligen har de rätt. Tills vi vet om de finns med 2006 eller inte.

Meira confirmed at Panther Racing for 2006
Panther survives difficult off season

Bringing the IndyCar Series confirmed car count to seventeen; Vitor Meira has been named as the driver for the Panther Racing team. Sponsorship details are unknown but the move keeps Meira in the driver's seat, and Panther Racing in the Indy Racing League.

“This is a fresh start for me and for Panther Racing,” said Meira, who finished second in the 2005 Indy 500. “And now we are going to make it a quick start. Everything comes full circle; the Panther No. 4 is the first Indy-car I ever drove. They gave me my rookie test in Texas in 2001 and now we're going racing together. It's been a long offseason and I'm happy that everything has come together the way it did because I'm excited to be with the team and all the potential that we have.”
