BAR and Acer are delighted to announce a new long-term partnership, effective from this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix. Acer will become a Corporate Partner of BAR and will be the Official Supplier of Computer Hardware to the team.

Established in 1976, Acer is now Europe's 5th largest mobile PC vendor. The company employs marketing and service operations across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas, supporting dealers and distributors in over 100 countries. Acer offers a broad spectrum of IT products and services, including mobile and desktop computers, servers and peripherals.

Commenting on the new partnership, BAR Team Principal David Richards said: "I am delighted to welcome Acer to the team as a Corporate Partner. State-of-the-art technology and its reliable application are critical in the demanding environment of Formula 1. Acer will, without doubt, make a significant contribution to driving BAR to the front of the field."

Gianfranco Lanci, President of Acer Europe, added: "Acer have an outstanding portfolio of products and we look forward to showcasing them with BAR. Kul för BAR

Jordan slimmar personal, tappar sponsorer och ryktas ligga väldigt löst till hos Honda.

BAR nyrekryterar, är i år snabbare än Jordan och Honda överväger ett exklusivt samarbete med stallet.

Där ser man hur det kan gå.

En ren spekulation, men för att få pengar måste man ha pengar. Detta i samband med andra diskussioner om F1:s framtid här på Forza. Har man redan bra med pengar är det inga problem att få ytterligare sponsorer, och vice versa. Följa John-principen...
